Ferromex visits Richmond Pacific Rails
A BNSF light engine move greeted me on Monday night at Marina Bay Parkway grade crossing. It was led by a handsome Ferromex Dash-9 unit. Here’s a few pics.
Ferro 4616 passing the Marina Crossing Business Park back lot on the Siberia Lead.
The next few shots below are at Marina Way grade crossing, also on the BNSF Siberia Lead.
The two trailing units are more garden variety but still worth a look. Nice “Swoosh” logo on 7508’s long hood.
We don’t see too many Ferromex units around here so it is a pleasant surprise in addition to the parade of BNSF and other visiting power.
The only other Ferro unit I’ve caught in recent times was at Bealleville last September.
One last look at the Ferromex visitor with it’s BNSF brothers heading off into the sunset toward Richmond Terminal.
I’ll have to keep and eye out for a Ferro Kato unit to replicate this one day.
