Cab View of the Richmond Pacific

Garrett Kirby is a BNSF crew member who gets some nice shots from the crew’s perspective. Garrett was previously on a pool turn for the stack trains out of Stockton Ca. to Oakland via the RPRC.

Here’s an example from the cab of a BNSF freight on the Siberia Lead, leaving the Richmond Pacific and passing the 23rd Street Yard on the left.

Garrett also has some interesting views of the BNSF Stockton Sub line (Richmond - Stockton Ca.) including tunnels, bridges and indistrial areas not easily viewed by non-railroaders.

You can see more of Garrett’s shots of the Richmond Pacific, Oakland and the Stockton Sub at his PBase site here.

For fans of the Colorado Joint Line, Garrett has some neat pics of the line south of Denver jointly operated by UP and BNSF found here.
