Picture Browser for Flickr Photos
I have been messing around with my photos lately. This is a test of a quick way of putting a collection of photos into a post using a free viewer from PictoBrowser. I can determine the shots in the viewer by selecting a photo set on Flickr.
Once the viewer is up on your screen, you can advance through the photos by clicking on the main picture. You can also skip to any picture by clicking on any of the thumbnails to bring up that picture in the viewer. If there are notes on the picture, a “Notes” control will appear at the lower right. You can see the notes by hovering your mouse over the “Notes” control.
Similarly, clicking on the “link” control at the lower right allows you click on the link to the Flickr page for this photo. This is useful if you would like to add your notes to the photo or download a higher resolution version of the picture from my Flickr site.
I can’t figure out what the Zoom control does! I think it probably controls the scale of the picture when larger images are loaded. Currently, mine are all sized to fit the blog. Let me know if you see it do something useful!
